Scorton Picnic Site - Located about a mile east of the A6 (Hollins Lane) this grassy picnic area site is on the banks of the River Wyre. It offers short walks from the car park and pleasant walks through lowland country to pretty villages such as Scorton and Dolphinholme or for longer walks you can follow the River Wyre to Abbeystead nestling in the valley surrounded by the Bowland fells.
The Priory - With a boutique hotel, restaurant, tea rooms and bar, the Priory has a lovely atmosphere, with friendly, attentive staff.
