Village Life

Scorton is particularly desirableplace to live and is only a short drive to the market town of Garstang which offers a range of facilities including shops, supermarkets, schools and churches. The village of Scorton is also close by and is adjacent to the Forest of Bowland, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. Although quite rural the A6 and M6 motorway are not to far away and provide access to the major towns and cities north and south of the area.

Walking, cycling and enjoying the country air is top of our list every day. There are approximately 100 houses and 300 residents with 3 churches, a hairdressers, village shop, village hall and 2 eateries. There are many community groups and plenty of places to meet.

There's some fantastic places to eat nearby, Daisy Clough Nurseries Tea Room, the Barn and the Priory in the centre of the village and the fabulous Apple Store Café heading up towards our local fell, Nicky Nook.
